Hi,

Dronam Srinivas has been declared as the official canditate for Vizag-1 assembly constituency. Ramakrishna has also appealed for a no-contest elections. He wants none of the other political parties to put up theur candidates.

BJP-> Said no to KR's proposal. May put up a good fight with Haribabu.

TDP-> Said no, asked why did u putup candidates aganist Paritala Sunita, when her husband was murdered.

Independents-> No other party or independents may putup candidates. As CPI and CPM has no face in Vizag.

What do you guys say?

The state gov has not made a single rupee allocation for infrastructure in Vizag. Neither the long pending flyovers have been addressed.

Jagampudi rammohan rao, Konathala ramakrishna talk about making Vizag the hottest destination for investment in India? But where are the allocations.

Nor the talk of an International airport in Vizag has been talked off. So its long time to go for Vizag to become the hottest destination.

VIZAG: Commercial Taxes Minister Konatala Ramakrishna on Sunday called upon the party cadre to step up election campaign in Vizag-1 constituency. Addressing One-Town party cadre at City Congress Committee (CCC) office here on Sunday the minister said various developmental works-expansion of steel plant and release of the NURm grants etc.,-have been staled due to the election code.

Presiding over the meeting, CCC president and Congress party candidate Srinivasa Rao criticised TDP and BJP for their meaningless allegations on the government and the Congress party. City Youth Congress president GV Ravi Raju, PCC members S Gopal, Khureshi and large number of leaders from Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and other party frontline organisations

Four officials to oversee Vizag bypoll

VIZAG: Four officials have been named to oversee the implementation of the model code of conduct for the Visakha-I Assembly byelection scheduled for April 24, according to returning officer M.B. Kameswara Rao.

The officials are: B. Bhavanidas, SEZ-1 special grade deputy collector (Wards 1 to 5); Ch. Prabhakara Rao, SEZ-2 special grade deputy collector (Wards 6 to 10); R.S. Rajkumar, APIIC special grade deputy collector (Wards 11 to 15) and Rehmatullah, NTPC special grade deputy collector.

He had a meeting with officials on Tuesday. Counting will take place on April 27.
