During 1990, literacy rate in Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts was just 30%. At that time, literacy rate in Medak district was 32%, Nizamabad district was 34%, Vizianagaram district was 34.5%, Srikakulam district was 36%, Karimnagar district was 37%, Warangal district was 39%. Except Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, most of the districts with literacy rate below 40% were in Telangana. Telanganalo monnati varaku ekkuva mandi veli mudralu vesinolle. I am computer hardware service professional earning around Rs 15,000 per month. Can a thumb impressioner in Telangana or other backward region earn Rs 500 per month?

Earning money now a days is not at all a big issue. People like the owner of Khotari Product as you said are not much educated, but from a small vendor selling his products on his cycle, he has become a big business man.

Earning money is basically each individual skill and attitude. If one has guts they, he can try anything.

Earning money is not the main thing over here. See the infrastructure and the facilities being given to the commoan man and the status where he / she is able to avail it. Compared to earlier days, the literacy has improved lot more folds and hence becoming NRIs depends on each individual and no one can force others to become NRI.

Have the will power and then see. Each individual can achieve it. See in the western regions- Gujarath / parts of Maharastra. Most of the thumb impressioner earn far better then well educated people from our region, because they dare to do anything and we take step behind to do something bold.

70% of Indians are still living in rural areas and majority of them are workers and small farmers. Their lives didn't transform much though literacy rate raised upto 60%. Farmers are committing suicides even in Kerala even there is above 90% literacy rate in that state. Tribals are living in remote forests in Tripura even there is above 80% literacy rate in that state.
