Operation Godavari Clean-up program

Operation Godavari Clean-up program was taken up by Puducherry minister for tourism Malladi Krishna Rao on Sunday with about 500 volunteers of the Yanam Pourula Sankshema Sangam and took up the cleaning.
I appreciate the proactive approach of the Yanam leaders. Civic sense is lacking in our people and shall be cultivated from child hood by both parents and teachers. We need more waste bins in this area due to floating population from various places. It is also moral responsibility of all Godavari people to teach civic sense to all residants, the tourists visit the Godavari area and purohits/pandits at various ghats to perform rituals. Also the industrial pollutions shall be strictly regulated by regularly watching all such pollution creating industries by local residents and complain to local leaders and appropriate authorities.
