Avachari Kona area in the Tirumala Tirupati Forest range was on first since last noon. Already a vast area of the forest is reduced to ashes. Wondering why TTD does not have enough facilities and people to maintain and tackle with these kinds of calamities even when it became the richest temple in the world!

TTD Range Officer said, "We did not measure but approximately 25 to 50 hectares of forest area was reduced to ashes".

It is high time TTD puts in sophesticated technology into use to counter these kinds of things.
