Cleanliness in bus stations

Postby Surya Kala Chennamaneni » July 18th, 2005, 7:46 pm

I have seen some people who make bus stations dirty by littering fruit skins & smoked cigarette pieces etc and also spitting pan. People who make bus stations dirty must be fined atlest Rs 100.

They also litter used plastic covers of eatables. Littering any kind of litterable material in bus stations must be restricted.
In India rich people become more rich and poor people become more poor. Because our politicians are following pro capitalistic policies.

Government or concerned authorities should do a drive frequently and give a high penalty for the ones who spit on the bus stands. And also some social organizations/government should bring more awareness on keeping public areas neat.

Its a good idea it may be implemented first in the dities and then we can think of implementing it in the villages.

If the RTC employees act responsibly the public too will act responsibly. the drivers are the first to spit immediately after they reach the bus stand and the conductors follow, not to spare the cleaning staff all the time even while cleaning the floor or sweeping they keep spitting.
