APS RTC should give driver posts to women

Postby mandangi » October 12th, 2004, 11:09 am

APS RTC should appoint women as drivers. At present women are appointed in conductor posts. In driver posts also women should be appointed. In these days some women are even working as pilots. Why dont women be appointed as drivers?
In India rich people become more rich and poor people become more poor. Because our politicians are following pro capitalistic policies.

Before RTC had appointed women conductors railways had appointed women TTEs. RTC did not appoint women drivers. But railways appointed women drivers in some zones.

In Vijayawada one woman is working as lorry driver. It is good that private parties are also intrested in giving opportunities to women.
